Event: AI, A Marketer's Friend or Foe?

Along with 4 other Marketing Comms final years, we were in charge of planning the annual ICE (Inspire, Create, Engage) event, a collaborative event between BU and the CIM. Throughout the year, we were in charge of the event planning from start to finish, including choosing a marketing-related topic suitable for BU students and CIM members, securing professional speakers and creating promotional material.

The event, held on May 8th 2024 on the BU campus, was titled 'AI: A Marketer's Friend or Foe?', and addressed the topic of AI and its ethics, authenticity and impact on marketing, with speakers Laura Cioffi and Luke Williams, and with moderator Matt Desmier.
